Women’s Christian Extravaganza

I am excited to share a story that I believe is genuinely inspired by God. Throughout my experience organizing Christian events, I have always strived to ensure that my ideas are God's and not mine. This event was, without a doubt, a divine inspiration.

A couple of years ago, I envisioned hosting a women's Christian gathering during the NFR (National Finals Rodeo). I even called to start the planning process but never received a callback. During that time, I had a dream in which it was revealed that Jesus would not be present at the event, which led me to abandon the idea entirely. If God wasn't going to be there, then neither was I.

Fast forward to February 2025. I attended a Cowboy Christian Ministers Conference, and after the first evening session, a gentleman approached me and said he had a word from God for me. I didn't know him then, but I later learned he was a pastor at a church in San Antonio. His message was, "Go Forth." I was unsure what God meant by this, but I thanked him and said I would pray.

As I turned to retrieve my Bible from my chair, a woman I didn't know approached me. She told me the Lord had instructed her to pray for someone who looked just like me, wearing red and black. I agreed to let her pray, and during her prayer, she proclaimed the exact words: "Go Forth." At that moment, I knew God was trying to get my attention.

The next morning, during my prayer time, God returned a dream I had two weeks prior. It was interpreted to mean that something had been blocking my path, and it was time to remove that obstacle and move forward. This recollection reignited the idea of organizing a women's Christian event during the NFR.

That morning, the Lord also gave me the scripture Isaiah 54:2-3: "Enlarge the place of your tent and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your stakes." To my astonishment, the first speaker that day opened his message with this same scripture. At that point, I had enough confirmation that I knew where God was calling me to go and that I should proceed with the Women's Christian Event in Vegas.

When I returned home, I first called Julie Jutten, who I knew would be a key player in this endeavor. She was entirely on board from the beginning and helped bring all the details together.

From the start until now, this journey has been filled with divine opportunities and open doors. I am excited to see what God has in store for the Viva Las Jesus event on December10th. If God is in, it is going to be Good!
